The new week is just around the corner, but before that, let’s take a look back at the last seven days. The editors of iPhoned has rounded up the best iOS apps, games and updates from last week.
Last week’s 5 best iOS apps
The App Store is working overtime every week. New apps, updates to existing applications and games are added all the time. You probably don’t notice this much, because most of it is not worth downloading. iPhoned therefore separates the wheat from the chaff every Sunday. Here are this week’s best iOS apps, updates, and games.
1. Meaty
By now most people are aware that eating meat is not good for the environment. But do you also know what the impact on a personal scale, ie of your own meat consumption, is on the climate? Meaty gives you insight into the impact of your daily portion of meat on water consumption.

For example, did you know that eating one steak is equivalent to showering for one hour and fourteen minutes? The purpose of this app is to make you aware of your meat consumption on the climate, so that you may opt for a vegetarian dish a little more often.
2. Dyme
Do you have too many days of the month left at the end of your bank account? With Dyme, that doesn’t have to happen anymore. The app gives you a clear overview of all your fixed costs. Unlike many other expense apps, Dyme doesn’t require you to enter each expense separately. It is possible to synchronize the app with the online banking app of your own bank.
All your fixed costs, so your subscriptions, memberships, rent, etc., are automatically labeled in the app. This way you can see at a glance what you have lost in the month of your income and how much spending space you have in addition.
Have you ever taken out a subscription that you want to get rid of? In Dyme you can cancel these with a few clicks. This way you have more control over your finances and hopefully have some left over at the end of the month.

3. Flash Master
The Flitsmeister iOS app has received a major update. One of the major improvements is the use of smart traffic lights. In the Netherlands there are more and more smart traffic lights that can send information to the app. This allows the app to show the current position of the traffic light.

In addition, the app now has a night mode for the map. Current matrix signs (the luminous signs that hang above the highway) are now also displayed in the app. In addition, the navigation instructions are a lot more readable, because they have a black background.

4.Microsoft Office
As of this week, the Microsoft Office app is officially available. Whether you’re viewing a presentation in PowerPoint, creating a document in Word, or diving into a spreadsheet with Excel, all you need now is the Microsoft Office app to perform these tasks on your iPhone (and later the iPad).
The fact that Microsoft is bundling its Office apps in an app does not mean that the separate iOS apps for PowerPoint, Word and Excel will disappear. These will continue to exist and have more extensive options than the apps you will find in this bundle.

5. Incredible Mandy
A Nintendo game just on your iPhone screen: it’s possible with Incredible Mandy. In this adventure you go on a journey of discovery through the special memories of a brother and sister. You fight bosses and solve puzzles in eight completely different levels.
During your journey you will make your way through all the obstacles. The colorful world and anime-like characters provide a great gaming experience. In between, you also get to see parts of the story, which really makes the game feel like you’re playing it on a game console.
