The App Store works overtime every week to handle the never-ending stream of new apps and updates. You don’t notice that much, however, because only a fraction of it is worth installing. If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch can use some new apps, you’ve come to the right place.
1. In Control
Belsimpel will help you to handle your data bundle more carefully. With In Control you get practical tips to get to the end of the month with enough MBs in your bundle. Before using the app, enter the size of your data bundle and on which day your bundle will be renewed. You can then use the internet on your iPhone as usual. Meanwhile, In Control carefully keeps track of how many MBs you use per day. All statistics are placed in graphs, which are also available as a widget.

2. Facebook
Facebook has considerably expanded its Live feature. In addition to private chats with public live streams, you can also do one live stream with several people after the latest update. Facebook is also introducing Live Chat with Friends, which means you can watch a live stream with your friends. You can then chat with only your friends, without messages getting lost in a large stream of comments. The feature is still being tested in various countries at the time of writing, but will be released to everyone in the summer.

3. Klocki
Klocki, the free App of the Week, is a simple game, with no deep storyline or other complex elements. All you need to win is some spatial awareness, because the figures you have to control are not always completely flat. To play, tap two different squares and they switch places. This is how you have to complete the pattern. At later levels it gets a bit more difficult, because then the tiles that you have to change become black. By guessing you can quickly figure out which tile should be where, because if one is right, the black box disappears and you see the content.

4.1Password
The new Travel Mode from 1Password is mainly a response to stricter border controls. More and more travelers have to unlock their phone during a check, which means a serious invasion of your privacy. Before you travel, enter on the 1Password website which passwords, login details and other files from your safe you want to use on vacation. All this information is placed in the new ‘Safe for Travel’ safe. As soon as you leave, turn on travel mode and all other safes will be locked and removed from your devices.

5. Magikarp Jump
Magikarp Jump is a game that is all about one of the weakest Pokémon. In the game you have to make your monster jump as high as possible. You do this by training him extensively and feeding him regularly. You are actually treating Magikarp like a Tamagotchi, which grows stronger when you give it more love and attention. The ultimate goal: to become the League Champion by jumping the very high of all Magikarps. Screenshots of your best intermediate scores are automatically taken so you can brag about the results to your friends.

6. Snapchat
Snapchat has introduced a new feature that allows you to create a story together with friends. With ‘Custom Stories’, users can invite friends to create one story together with a group, instead of all kinds of separate stories. This can be done worldwide, but also in a specific place. That’s nice when a group of friends is at a festival, for example. The contributions to a Custom Story all automatically disappear after 24 hours if no one has added anything more.
