The week is over and that means that a fresh app overview is waiting for you! As far as we are concerned, you should not miss these new apps, games and updates. You can find the best iOS apps from week 48 here.
The best iOS apps at a glance
The App Store works overtime every week to handle the never-ending stream of new apps and updates. However, you will hardly notice this, because only a small part is worth installing. If your iPhone or iPad can use some new apps, you’ve come to the right place.
1. Assassin’s Creed Rebellion
Assassin’s Creed Rebellion is made especially and exclusively for mobile gamers. And although the game is slightly different, it is a feast of recognition. All characters from the different games can be found in Rebellion, including Ezio, Aguilar and Machiavelli. Together with about 20 new characters you can choose from more than 45 characters to form your own brotherhood.
With a growing number of brothers you fight your way past the enemy to stop them and collect materials. You play each mission with three characters. Each character has its own specialty. One is better in direct combat, while the other is better at sneaking or dismantling locks and traps.
2. Readly
Although we read a lot of articles on our smartphones and tablets today, paper magazines remain popular. To remain relevant, publishers update websites, fill social media channels and work with apps. The Readly app can be downloaded for free from the App Store.
You log in with your account and have direct access to a large stack of magazines that you can read unlimitedly. The application works ideally on an iPad, it is a bit more difficult on an iPhone, but zooming in is also fine. It is possible to add magazines to your favorites, so that you can easily find the magazines you are interested in. You can also filter by country, language, category and view only the newcomers. The magazines can be downloaded for offline use.

3. Atlas Wallpaper
In recent years, line drawings of neighborhoods, cities and streets have become increasingly popular as home decoration. The developer of Atlas Wallpaper has used that formula for success for an app, with which you can also show your favorite spot on your iPhone.
With this you can make as many line drawings as you want. For example, from your hometown, favorite metropolis or even country, or a place where you ever want to go again. To create wallpapers from places around the world, Atlas Wallpaper uses Mapbox’s public location data source.
4. Flitsmeister
Entering a destination in Flitsmeister becomes a lot easier. Thanks to an update, voice control has been added to the app. A microphone has been incorporated in the search bar in the ‘For you’ tab, which lets you record the location.
This allows you to set up your navigation faster, especially if you don’t have hands free for a while. Although you still have to select voice control and the suggested address on the screen, not entering an address manually saves a lot of effort.

5. Stop
Stoop is just like a podcast app, but for newsletters. You manage all your subscriptions in one central place, so you can unsubscribe at the touch of a button. Anyone who receives multiple newsletters knows that things can turn into chaos quite quickly, and Stoop changes that.
Stoop is clear, easy to use and above all simple. The app makes reading and managing newsletters a lot easier, especially if you have subscribed to multiple mailings. Moreover, Stoop is a great way to discover new, interesting newsletters. The makers put together their own lists of favorites.
6. Chuchel
Chuchel is a ball of fabric with a hat that is very hungry for a cherry. However, the fruit is always just out of reach. In all kinds of situations you have to help to grab the cherry.
Basically, that means you tap on every object and creature to see what happens. That is never boring, because something funny always happens. Think of the game as a kind of interactive cartoon from the creators of the excellent Machinarium.
