What will remain of the events in 2021? You might remember the storming of the US Capitol or the devastating floods in western Germany. Some may not forget the Corona Olympics without an audience. Planetologists naturally have a wider view: They would probably appoint 2021 as the year of Mars. Because never before has our outer neighboring planet been so intensely in the focus of science.
