The Telephone Directory on the smartphone
De Telefoongids.nl is a handy alternative to the big pill with telephone numbers and address details of people and companies. For mobile devices, all information is also available via an app: De Telefoongids – Gouden Gids.
Download the app for Android devices in the Play Store. The app is not available for iPhones (iOS).
Using the Online Phone Book
Use the app as follows:
- Open the app telephone directory.
- Are you looking for a person or a company? By default, ‘Find companies’ is active. If you are looking for a person, tap Searching persons.
- Tap the “Who are you looking for?” or ‘What are you looking for?’. Now type in the last name of a person, the name of a company, the type of company (eg hairdresser) or a telephone number (if you are looking for the address details for a telephone number).
- Search suggestions may appear as you type, tap the appropriate option.
- If necessary, tap in the ‘City, Street, Neighborhood or Postal code’ field to enter a location. Tap a suggestion to choose it.
- Tap the orange button Searching persons or Search companies.
- Tap on a search result for a complete overview of the data.
- You can now directly call the number (tap the green button with the phone number) or plan a route (tap plan route). Your phone’s calling or maps app then takes over.
