Best Netflix series 2024 (and movies!)

Netflix remains the largest streaming service in the Netherlands with the largest selection. This makes it sometimes difficult to find series and films that are really worth watching. That is why we have listed the best Netflix series and films of 2024 for you.

10. CHEESE

Unfortunately, Netflix has KAOS canceled after just a single season and that is an eternal shame. The series was not only original, but also a pleasure to watch. KAOS tells a modern version of Greek mythology with Jeff Goldblum in the role of Zeus, who panics when he discovers a wrinkle. Does humanity still believe in him enough? This series is colorful, funny, innovative and still worth watching even without a sequel.

1. Ripley

The book The Talented Mr. Ripley was already adapted into a film in 1999, starring Matt Damon. This miniseries is not a remake of the film, but a retelling of the source material. This time, Andrew Scott stars as a con man who is hired to bring a rich man’s son back from Italy. As soon as Ripley arrives there, he becomes charmed by the beautiful Italian life and does everything he can to adopt it.

That Ripley Filmed in black and white can put people off. Please don’t let that put you off, because you don’t want to miss this miniseries. This is a masterpiece, thanks to the acting, the tension and the locations, among other things. And this is incredibly beautifully filmed.
