If you want an AirTag but don’t want an annoying lump in your wallet, then the eufy Smart Tracker Card is a good option!
This ‘AirTag’ fits in your wallet
An AirTag is ideal for easily keeping an eye on important items. For example, you hang one on your key ring and perhaps hide one somewhere in your bike or in your luggage.
Due to its shape, an AirTag is not really suitable for your wallet and certainly not for your card holder. Still, it wouldn’t be surprising at all to be able to add them to Apple’s Find My feature. The eufy Smart Tracker Card is the solution.
Eufy Smart Tracker Card
The eufy Smart Tracker Card is 0.24 cm thick, weighs 12 grams and has the dimensions of a credit card (8.4 x 5.5 cm). You can easily put it in your wallet or card holder, but keep in mind that the Card is about as thick as three credit cards (a regular AirTag is as thick as eight credit cards). Adding to Find My works exactly as you would expect from a ‘normal’ AirTag. The battery of the Smart Tracker Card will then last three years (it cannot be recharged).
The Eufy Smart Tracker Card comes with a metal clip, if you want to attach the tracker to something else. Eufy also has its own Security app. If you want extra features such as double-pressing the button to find your iPhone and sharing tracking information, you need that app. This is not necessary for basic functionality.
The eufy Smart Tracker Card is with 29.99 euros slightly cheaper than a regular AirTag. As mentioned, the Find My function works fine, but… ‘Search nearby’ not supported. In practice, however, this is not a major problem.
Alternative ‘AirTags’ for your wallet

Bluestein Slim Tag
This flat ‘AirTag’ for your wallet is made of tempered glass and is only 1.9 mm thick (about as thick as two credit cards). As a result, the battery of the Slim Tag has a slightly shorter lifespan of 2.5 years than the eufy Smart Tracker Card (the Bluestein Slim Tag cannot be charged). In terms of functionality, the Slim Tag is comparable to the eufy.
KeySmart SmartCard
At 2 mm, the SmartCard from KeySmart is almost as thick as the Bluestein Slim Tag. Here too, the functionality is completely the same, but the SmartCard has a few extras. It is waterproof according to the IPX7 certification (30 minutes in 1 meter of water). The battery lasts about five months, but you can charge it wirelessly.
Would you rather have a real AirTag?
