There is still a lot of work to be done for Apple, because a function of Apple Intelligence is still far from working properly. That’s how it is.
Apple Intelligence is glitching
Apple Intelligence is now available in the first countries, but users are not yet satisfied with the new technology. An important feature of Apple Intelligence is notification summarization. Using artificial intelligence, multiple notifications from the same app are bundled into one message. This should make the message center of your iPhone, iPad and Mac much clearer.
It is now clear that summarizing is not yet working properly. Apple Intelligence does not correctly copy the content of the notifications, causing messages with misinformation. This even goes so far that BBC News has filed a complaint with Apple. The British broadcaster demands that Apple solve the problems, especially now that several reports have already been summarized incorrectly. In this way, Apple Intelligence contributes to the spread of fake news, according to the broadcaster.

Reports summarized incorrectly
Things went wrong again several times at the end of December when summarizing BBC News notifications. For example, Apple Intelligence announced that Luke Littler had won the Darts World Cup before the final had even been played. A number of other reports from BBC Sport were also incorrectly summarized, spreading misinformation about Rafael Nadal. The summarized notifications create misleading headlines.
Summarizing notifications should be a useful feature of Apple Intelligence, but it currently causes more confusion among users. Especially if readers do not view the complete article, the bundled reports can lead to misinterpretations. It is therefore important that Apple resolves the software problems as quickly as possible. Apple itself has not yet officially responded to the reports from BBC News.

More features from Apple Intelligence
Apple Intelligence is not yet officially available, but users in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and South Africa can already try out the test version. The fact that this is still a test version becomes clear when summarizing notifications. There is therefore a good chance that Apple will improve the function in the final version of Apple Intelligence.
It is not yet known when exactly Apple Intelligence will be rolled out in the European Union. Apple has already announced that the technology will come to Europe in April, but we will have to wait a little longer for the exact release date. This will probably still be a test version of Apple Intelligence in April, so not all functions will work smoothly yet. Are you curious about what changes on your iPhone with Apple Intelligence?
