Samsung has recently been a bit more fanatical in terms of updates and although that is certainly positive, people sometimes no longer see the current version because of the updates. No problem, because this way you can check which version of Android you are using on your Samsung phone.
Samsung One UI
There is a difference between Android, so what Google makes, and One UI, which is the shell for Android that Samsung makes. Samsung bases One UI on Android. It is a shell with which Samsung makes the phone more its own. One UI is very similar to the clean version of Android, plus it has more functionalities. However, when it comes to the version of the software you are running, you will notice that you can see at once with which version of One UI and with which version of Android your smartphone operates.
It is useful to know which version of the software is running on your smartphone when, for example, you read that there is a bug in a certain version of that software. Or maybe you simply want to know what you can expect in terms of (new) options on your device, based on which variant is running.

You will find the android version from your Samsung phone as follows:
- On your device, go to Settings (you do this by swiping down and tapping the gear)
- Scroll down and go to Info phone -> Software Details
- Bee android version you can of course see which variant of Android is running
- Bee Version One UI see which version of One UI your Samsung is running on
Easter Egg
There is another nice easter egg hidden in the menu. To do this, tap several times android version, an easter egg will open in which you will see the Material You click appear. Then you set it to 12:00 and you will see a cheerful, artful screen with the Android version. With the back key or by swiping you can go back to the previous screen, where it is slightly easier to read which version you have stayed with.
