It is now possible to find your ING insurance policies in the ING Banking app. This is how you find them (and remove them).
Find insurance within ING Banking
With the latest update for ING Banking, the app has been given an extra function. In addition to viewing your various accounts, your insurance policies also get a place. So in addition to your checking account, savings account and credit card, you will also find your home insurance policies and any other insurance policies. Think of travel or car insurance. The insurance is not hidden, but it is good to know that it is there. You can find them directly in the Overview screen under your accounts.
At the moment there is not much to do with it. Only your policy number can be seen in the app. If you press this, ING Banking will let you know that this is just the first step: “Yes, your ING insurance policies are now also in the app. You can do more step by step. You will see it for yourself. ” It is not yet known which extra functions will be added later.
Remove insurance again
Do you want to change the order or, for example, remove insurance policies from the overview? Then that is also possible. In Overview, press the eye at the top of the screen. The different blocks with accounts and insurance can be dragged here via the three lines on the right side of the screen. By tapping the check marks on the left side of the screen, you remove blocks from the Overview. These can be added later via the same screen.
Funny thing is that you can also give your savings account a goal in this screen, by tapping on the image in front of the account. Then you choose an image of a vacation, study, car or just a piggy bank. This way you make the app a bit more personal.
