Instagram now lets you upload up to ten different photos and videos at once and put them in one post as a sort of album. Viewers can swipe right through it.

For years, companies have had the option to upload a whole series of images at once in Instagram. Super handy, but all this time we just had to put each photo separately on the photo network. Until now, because the handy function is rolling out to everyone. The idea is that you can upload up to ten photos and videos, after which they are placed in one post as a carousel that can be browsed.
To make an album yourself, first go to the familiar place to upload a photo. There you will find a new icon that looks like a stack of photos. Tap this and you can choose from multiple photos from your library. If you are satisfied with your selection, you can adjust the order and add filters in the next screen. You can work with filters per photo, or simply give all photos the same filter at once.
In the Instagram feed, the albums look no different from normal images. The first photo is displayed on the screen wide. There are dots at the bottom of an album that indicate that it is an album. If you see these dots, you can view the entire album by swiping. If you are in someone’s profile, there is an icon on all images that contain an entire album. This ensures that you do not accidentally miss a photo.
