With Textlicious you format text in apps where this is normally not possible. That way, your messages will stand out better and you will always be able to distinguish yourself. We explain how to do this.
Textlicious: Format text wherever you want
It is far from possible to format text in all iOS apps. That’s a shame because by words in bold, oblique or underlined you give extra weight to your message. Fortunately, there is Textlicious. With this app you can format text in programs where it was previously impossible.
This is how you edit text with Textlicious:
- Download the text editor in the App Store;
- Go to an app that normally doesn’t allow you to format text, such as the official Twitter app or iMessage messages;
- Select the piece of text you want to format and tap ‘Share’;
- Indicate what style you want to include in the text and you’re done!
Besides giving words an effect, you can also choose from various fonts. You do not have to leave the app you are currently working on. Textlicious is therefore especially a godsend when you work a lot with non-standard apps. After all, pre-installed programs such as Notes themselves have text formatting functions. In WhatsApp, for example, you can easily give messages a personal touch.
To download
Textlicious can be downloaded from the App Store and costs 2.29 euros. Given the fairly limited functionality and the relatively high price tag, the app is probably only interesting for fanatic text users. You must have at least iOS 11 to download the text editor.
