Wondering what you have already bought with Apple Pay? This way you can view the payment history on your iPhone, iPad and Mac.
View Apple Pay payment history
Since June 2019, Apple Pay has been working for ING customers in the Netherlands and you can pay contactless with your iPhone, Apple Watch or Mac. After the first purchases have been made, it is time to prepare the administration. This is how you view the Apple Pay payment history on all your Apple devices.
This is how you view Apple Pay transactions on your iPhone
Viewing your purchase history is just as easy as paying with your iPhone:
- Open the Wallet app and tap the payment card for which you want to check the payment history;
- You will immediately see an overview of the most recent transactions;
- Do you want more specifications than just the store, location and total amount? Then tap the arrow next to the transaction.
The Apple Pay payment history can also be viewed in another way with your phone:
- Open the Watch app on your iPhone;
- Go to ‘My Watch’ and select ‘Wallet and Apple Pay’;
- Tap on the payment card you want to check and open the ‘Transactions’ window;
- Then go to ‘Latest transactions’ for an overview of your most recent payments.

View Apple Pay transactions on iPad
Do you want to see on your iPad how much you have spent in the past few days? Then follow the directions below:
- Open the Settings app and go to ‘Wallet and Apple Pay’;
- Tap the card you want to check and open the ‘Transactions’ tab;
- Go to ‘Latest transactions’. Here you will find an overview of the most recent payments.
View Apple Pay Payment History on Mac
Finally, it is also possible to check Apple Pay payments via your Mac or MacBook:
- Open ‘System Preferences’ via the apple at the top left of the screen;
- Click on ‘Wallet and Apple Pay’ and choose the payment card you want to check;
- Open the ‘Transactions’ tab, where you will again see the most recent payment.

Turn off Apple Pay transaction history
Apple Pay automatically keeps a payment history. If you prefer not to have this, you will have to dive into the settings:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad;
- Go to ‘Wallet and Apple Pay’ and choose ‘Debit card’;
- Then tap on ‘Transactions’ and slide the switch at ‘Show history’.
It works the same on the Watch app on your iPhone, except you have to go to ‘My Watch’ in step 1. Then follow the rest of the directions. It works the same on your Mac, except that you first have to open System Preferences in step 1 and turn off ‘Show transaction notifications from’ in step 3.
