Tip: Customize and use Siri watch face in watchOS 4

With watchOS 4, your Apple Watch has gotten a Siri watch face. We explain how to use and adjust this watch face.

Customize and use Siri watch face

With watchOS 4, your Apple Watch has gotten a number of new watch faces. For example, you can place the Toy Story characters on the small screen, or create a kaleidoscope watch face with your own photo. Most interesting, however, is the new Siri watch face. But how do you use it and how do you adjust it to your own wishes?

Using the Siri watch face

This watch face lets you use the Digital Crown in a cool way. Use the dial on your Apple Watch to scroll through all the items Siri places on the screen. This way you see the recent items first, then what’s to come and then tomorrow’s items.

Among these items are all kinds of useful things you should know. For example, it contains the music you are listening to or a reminder that you have set. It also shows the weather, or an appointment from your agenda. The idea is that with a look at your watch you are fully aware of your current affairs and what is about to happen.

Change data sources

However, you may never find certain items in this list interesting. Then you can make sure that Siri skips it via the Watch app. In the app, choose the Siri watch face under ‘my watch faces’ and under the heading ‘data sources’ you can use the sliders for sources that you do not want to see on your Apple Watch.

Customize the Siri watch face further

The dial can also be adjusted in a different way. Complications are placed in the top left and top right. Apple puts a Siri button and the date here by default. To adjust these complications, press and hold the watch face, then tap Adjust. Use the Digital Crown to scroll through the options.
