Tip: This is how you use and make your own Memoji Stickers in iOS 13

With iOS 12, Apple introduced Memoji and in iOS 13, the company goes one step further. You can now also use Memoji and Animoji as stickers. In this tip we explain how to work with Memoji Stickers.

Memoji Stickers: your own stickers

Memoji and Animoji are effective emoji because they can take over the mimicry of your face. However, every time you want to send it now, you have to pull a funny face again to make a nice picture. From iOS 13, Apple is expanding the possibilities, including Memoji Stickers. This way you have a collection of expressions from your Memoji by default.

In addition, you can provide your digital portrait with make-up and more accessories, such as AirPods. The stickers are combinations of your Memoji in the form of the most popular standard emoji that you will find on your keyboard. Sending Memoji Stickers is easy.

Memoji Stickers in WhatsApp and other apps

Previously, it was only possible to use Memoji or Animoji in the standard iOS apps Messages and FaceTime. Thanks to the new sticker function, you can finally use your own emoji stickers in, for example, WhatsApp or another messaging app.

To access your Memoji Stickers in other apps, open the keyboard and go to the emoji keyboard. Then swipe from left to right to make it appear. Where your Memoji appear in Messages as beautiful separate emoji, they are sent as a sticker in WhatsApp or Telegram, for example. Apps without a sticker function send the sticker as an image.
