TP-Link Deco X50 Outdoor for WiFi in the garden

TP-Link is a supplier of consumer and business networking products, such as our 4.5-star budget router TP-Link Archer AX50. Now TP-Link introduces the Deco X50 Outdoor, so that you can also watch your favorite series in the garden or attend a video call. Windows and walls are becoming better insulated and that is of course very good for the temperature in the house, but it also blocks WiFi signals. As a result, the WiFi often does not reach very far into the garden and the weatherproof (IP65) TP-Link Deco X50 Outdoor should offer the solution for this.

Decor network
The Deco X50 Outdoor is part of TP-Link’s Deco Multiroom Mesh WiFi product line and can therefore be integrated into any existing Deco network without any problems. For example, do you already have a Deco M4 set? Then you can easily extend it to the garden with the Deco X50 Outdoor. You can easily add the Deco X50 outdoor to your Deco network with a few clicks via the Deco app. Together, all Deco devices form one network, with one name and one password. This way you have stable WiFi everywhere in and around the house. You can connect up to 10 Deco devices to one large WiFi network. The Deco X50 Outdoor can also be used as a stand-alone router and works like any other Deco. Do you already have another WiFi network? Then set the Deco X50 Outdoor as an access point in addition to your existing network. Thanks to these flexible and versatile configuration options, the Deco X50 Outdoor is suitable for almost any situation.

Power over Ethernet
The Deco X50 Outdoor has a built-in power supply and can be plugged into a socket without a separate adapter using a standard power cable. Another option is Power over Ethernet. The Deco X50 Outdoor can be supplied with power via the network cable via a Power over Ethernetswitch or one Power over Ethernet injector (Not included). The connection to an existing Deco network can be done both via the Ethernet cable and wirelessly via WiFi.

AX3000 Dual Band Wi-Fi
The Deco X50 Outdoor has Wi-Fi 6 AX3000 and achieves Wi-Fi speeds of up to 3 Gbps, which is an improvement of 250% compared to 4 stream Wi-Fi 5, partly thanks to the larger channel width of 160 MHz, which means the speed per channel doubles.

Easy to install
The Deco X50 Outdoor is supplied with mounting material. It can be mounted on a wall or pole with the supplied mounting plate, it can also be placed separately.

AI-Driven Mesh, tailor-made WiFi for your home
The integrated AI-Driven Mesh technology intelligently adjusts the Wi-Fi to the environment by recognizing patterns, mapping network load and automatically connecting users to the most optimal Wi-Fi point.
