TP-Link Tapo Smart Home products announced

In addition, they also market devices for a smart(er) home, such as the excellent Tapo C100, and are now introducing many new Tapo smart home products. TP-Link’s Tapo Smart Home product line already consists of a large assortment of smart plugs, cameras, sensors and lighting and is now being expanded with several new product categories and innovative products. TP-Link is also fully committed to the new Matter industry standard with Tapo and has opened up its ecosystem to provide the best compatibility to users. Unfortunately, no prices are known yet or when the products will be available in the Benelux.

Tapo RV30C robot vacuum cleaners
TP-Link launched its first robot vacuum cleaners in 2022 with the Tapo RV10 and Tapo RV30 series. The Tapo RV30C Slim is the latest addition and has been awarded the CES 2023 Innovation Award and uses MagSlim LiDAR navigation technology. Thanks to a Mini-DTOR LiDAR sensor, the Tapo RV30C Slim is the thinnest robotic vacuum cleaner with LiDAR navigation on the market. This makes it possible to efficiently clean under lower objects and hard-to-reach places. Thanks to the MagSlim LiDAR navigation, the Tapo RV30C is able to map the space down to the millimeter in order to clean as optimally and efficiently as possible.

C325WB and C425 Outdoor security cameras
The new Tapo C325WB is an advanced outdoor security camera with WiFi. The Tapo C325WB uses a super aperture lens and an advanced image sensor to generate a more natural and colorful rendering, even in low-light conditions. New AI functionality allows the camera to accurately distinguish between people, animals, cars and other objects.
The 2K QHD Tapo C425 Outdoor is a completely wireless security camera for outdoor use and is equipped with a large rechargeable 10,000mAh battery and can easily be mounted magnetically. This camera can also be used in combination with the new Tapo A200 solar panel so that charging takes place automatically, energy is saved and you have even more freedom in placing the camera. The new Tapo D660 dual video doorbell has a striking extra: it also allows you to show the corners of the door and the doormat. Thanks to a second downward-facing camera and a smart algorithm, the Tapo D660 gives you a complete overview of what’s going on outside your door. It deters package thieves and in combination with the front-facing camera, the Tapo D660 gives the user an ultra-wide viewing angle of 180 degrees with no blind spots.

Tapo Smart Video Door Lock
TP-Link Tapo also introduces the Tapo Smart Video Door Lock, winner of a CES 2023 innovation award. The Tapo Smart Video Door Lock is a 3-in-1 device that combines a door lock, doorbell and camera in one device. The lock has multiple methods to be opened, such as a fingerprint scanner, facial recognition, the Tapo app, a password and using a voice-activated assistant.
Users can open the door wherever they are, it is possible to create temporary codes, view activity and receive notifications. Equipped with a video doorbell, this lock offers the possibility to real-time video intercom and the 2K QHD camera with a super wide viewing angle ensures that the door can be monitored 24/7.
