Use Control Center on Apple Vision Pro

Adjust settings, view notifications, search with Spotlight and more

On all Apple devices, the control panel (Control Center) is an important part of the software. From this panel you can quickly adjust settings and use certain features. The control panel is also important on an Apple Vision Pro and contains additional parts.

You can consult the control center from any application and view. In addition to adjusting certain system settings, the panel also has access to environments, notifications, spotlight and more.

The control panel is extremely important for the Apple Vision Pro, as a user you can activate and use it in any application and view. The control panel gives you access to all kinds of information, the time, battery percentage, connections and more.

Position of the control center

The control panel of the Apple Vision Pro can be found at the top of your view. Look up and then a small button (v) will appear in the center of the display. If you don’t see the button, keep your head still as you look up and make sure there are no apps at the top of your view.

You will then see an overview of the options including a status bar with the time, battery life, connections, etc. Below that you will find a window with various tabs.

  • Home screen: select the dots to display the overview of apps.
  • Environments: Open the overlapping mountains to select or customize a virtual environment.
  • Control panel: Select the tab with the switches to open the control panel and change system settings or use additional features.
  • notifications: Open the bell icon to see your notifications from apps that support notifications like Messages or FaceTime.
  • Volume bar: Check the current volume or turn the Digital Crown to change it

Use control panel

Once you open the control panel via the switch symbol, you gain access to even more components. This allows you to change certain system settings, such as switching WiFi and Bluetooth on and off. You also get quick access to travel mode, airplane mode, do not disturb, guest mode, etc. Below is a brief explanation of all components.

  • Turn WiFi and Bluetooth on or off
  • Travel Mode (vision symbol with waves): You can use the travel mode when you are on the road, for example on a plane, and you want to use the Vision Pro. This temporarily disables the docking of windows in the room.
  • Airplane mode: Disables wireless connections at once
  • Media widget: control current music, audio or video
  • Volume bar: Adjust the volume manually, turning the Digital Crown if necessary.

  • Focus (moon symbol): Enable a desired focus to use do not disturb.
  • Guest Mode (Silhouette): Allow someone else to use the Vision Pro on a limited basis.
  • Virtual Mac display (Mac with Vision): Connect the screen to your Mac to the Vision Pro and use a virtual display.
  • Synchronous display (overlapping rectangles): Display the Vision’s images on an iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV using AirPlay.
  • Capture (circle): Take a screen capture of the display.
  • Spotlight (magnifying glass): Search for apps, features, data, settings and more.
  • AirDrop (waves): Share content you see with other devices.

You can adjust the control panel via Settings â–¸ Control Center (Control Center). You can adjust the panel and add new components.

You can also adjust the position of the indicator (v). So you can display this standard just above your view, but you also have the option to place it higher, so that you really have to look up by lifting your head.
