The Apple Watch, just like the iPhone, has a notification overview and control panel. Since watchOS 10, the Apple Watch also uses a smart stack. Here you will find widgets with useful information.

When the watch face (clock) is active, you can easily access all three options, opening the notification overview by swiping down on the screen and the smart stack by swiping up. You open the control panel by pressing the side button. We explain whether you can also use these components in apps.

Since watchOS 10, you can open Control Center from anywhere in watchOS by pressing the side button once. This can be done from the clock, but also in apps and other views. Do you have watchOS 9 or older? Then you can open the control panel by placing your finger on the bottom of the screen and waiting a few moments.

Since watchOS 10, the Apple Watch has been equipped with a widget system. The interactive widgets with information are a central part of the interface on the Apple Watch and can be found in the smart stack.

You can access the widgets by swiping up from the bottom of the watch face. You can also turn the Digital Crown up to reveal the smart stack.

Unfortunately, you can only access the widgets and the relevant smart stack from the watch face. You cannot view this overview in apps.
