In the fall we can expect the AirPods Pro 3rd generation and they promise to contain the necessary innovations, including health functions. In addition, Apple is looking to add cameras to the AirPods, but not yet this year.

With the help of these cameras, the AirPods can scan the environment so that Apple Intelligence can be used in combination with AirPods. The cameras could also recognize hand gestures so that you can operate the wireless ears. Future music for the time being, but the interest is there.

It is no secret that Apple wants to focus more and more on smart home products. This way we can expect homeos later this year and possibly also a Smart Home Hub. New rumors indicate that Apple may start production of its own smart cameras in 2026.

The market of smart home cameras is large. For example, the EUFY security cameras, Arlo Camera and the Hue Secure Camera are popular. Yet Apple thinks that the market is not yet saturated and they want to release their own smart IP camera in the long term.
