Weekend Poll: will we see the iPhone 14 Max or the Plus next week?

Although we’ve been anticipating the iPhone 14 Max for months, it looks like it’s at the last minute Far Out to turn up another candidate. Will we see the Max or the Plus announced next Wednesday?

iPhone 14 Max or the Plus?

It should be clear: the mini will disappear this year. Where we have seen compact smartphones appear on the market in the past two years, Apple will probably continue with bigger. The iPhone 14 Max is the right step in that regard. Just as big as the Pro Max, but closer in price to the entry-level model.

However, for the past few months we have taken into account the name Max, but that name is now being questioned. This week, sources of 9to5Mac to report that a different name will be used. Not the Max, but the iPhone 14 Plus, according to them, will be announced next Wednesday. Something that is also in line with the story that various case makers brought out.

The big question, however, is what you think. Will we see the iPhone 14 Max next week, will it be the Plus or something completely different?

Why Far Out?

In the Weekend Poll from last week we went into the announcement of Far Out. The event, which will take place September 7, 2022 in Cupertino, is completely space-oriented in terms of design. But why exactly?

The Weekend Poll of last week was completed by 326 people who all had four choices. There were 186 people (57.06 percent) who saw a reference to the iPhone 14 Pro’s new telescope lens in the event. That the phones are so expensive that they are out of reach is in the minds of 88 people (26.99 percent). Only 32 people expect some crazy space feature (9.82 percent).

Last week, just like this week, a fourth option was open. It was therefore possible to fill in this one yourself and, in some cases, yielded very interesting answers. So late user Yurian know in the comments that it can also refer to Virtual Reality/Mixed Reality or Augmented Reality. Or how about a satellite phone, a new Apple Store on the moon (?) or that the camera system sticks out that far….
