On April 1, Apple celebrates a historic milestone: exactly fifty years after its founding in 1976 by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne. From a modest garage company it grew into the world’s most valuable tech giant, with groundbreaking products that revolutionized our daily lives.
To mark this anniversary, CEO Tim Cook has published a personal open letter on the Apple website, entitled ’50 Years of Thinking Different’. In the letter, he looks back on five decades of innovation – from the Apple I to the iPhone, Apple Watch and services like Apple Music – and thanks users who brought the technology to life.
