Apple Sports expanded with the 2026 World Cup: so you can follow every moment of the tournament
Apple has its free Sports app for iPhone considerably expanded. The app is available in more than 170 countries and regions worldwide, including more than 90 new markets. As a result, sports fans in Australia, Japan, India, South Korea, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and South Africa, among others, can now also access real-time scores, statistics and match information. iOS 27 may focus on stability and AI: fewer new features, more quality
With the upcoming release of iOS 27, Apple seems to be opting for quality, instead of an abundance of new visible functions. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman the company opts for a ‘Snow Leopard moment’ where stability, performance and reliability are in the spotlight.
Behind the scenes, a lot of effort is being made on advanced Apple Intelligence innovations (AI), a combination that should form the foundation for the future of iPhone, iPad and Mac.
