It’s almost December, so that means it’s time to look back on the year. If you listen to a lot of music, Spotify Wrapped is one of the nicest ways to look back on your musical year. The music service has now hinted at the arrival of Spotify Wrapped 2024, so it won’t be long before your personal annual overview appears. To prepare you in advance, Spotify has made a to-do list for you.
You’ll see this list as soon as you open the Spotify app on your iPhone or iPad. The to-do list will then automatically appear, containing the playlists with your top songs from recent years. Every year Spotify puts together a playlist containing your hundred most listened to songs of the year. To prepare for Spotify Wrapped 2024, you can already listen to the lists of 2023 and 2022.
When is Spotify Wrapped coming?
The to-do list is not very special, but it is a sign that Spotify Wrapped 2024 will be released soon. Spotify usually releases its annual overview in late November or early December. This often happens on a Wednesday, which gives us an idea when Spotify Wrapped will be released in 2024. These are the dates Spotify has released the retrospectives in recent years:
- 2023: November 29
- 2022: November 30
- 2021: December 1
- 2020: December 1
- 2019: December 5
For the past three years, Spotify Wrapped has been released on a Wednesday, so that will probably be the case again in 2024. Spotify is also including November in the annual overview this year, which means we will most likely include Spotify Wrapped Wednesday December 4 will see. So it won’t be long now, because next Wednesday it’s time to look back at the music and podcasts you’ve listened to most often.

There is a chance that Spotify will wait another week longer, in which case Spotify Wrapped 2024 would be released on Wednesday, December 11. Yet that seems unlikely, because the music service has never released the annual overview so late before. It is therefore more likely that next Wednesday you will see how many minutes you listened to Spotify, who your favorite artist was and what your most listened to songs of 2024 were.
Spotify Wrapped often shows you much more information about your musical year. Think about which podcast you have often played, what your musical personality is and which artist was your favorite per month. This way you will learn a lot about your own taste in music and the hundred songs you have played most often in 2024 will be collected in one playlist. So just be patient, because Spotify Wrapped 2024 will be released soon!
