In which direction of the sky is the Lagrange L2 point, for example within which constellation?
Asker: Jack, 75 years old
Answer
The point rotates with the earth around the sun. So it is not a fixed point in the sky. It moves in the orbit of the earth around the sun, and thus through the constellations of the zodiac. But each time (approximately) six constellations further than where the sun is located.
