Why do we constantly think about other things than what we are doing at that moment?

Answer

That’s not really true. ‘Thinking’ is a difficult activity. It should not be confused with feelings or daydreams. One can also direct one’s thinking.

Those who are fascinated by something they are working on often ‘think’ and ‘feel’ no different.
