The skin we have is called the skin. The skin is made up of different layers: epidermis, dermis and hypodermis). The skin has many functions. Some key features are:

  • protection (so that no foreign organisms can enter)
  • pad (due to the presence of grease)
  • heat regulation
  • feeling (due to the presence of nerves)
