Are you looking for a new iPhone or MacBook? Then don’t be a thief of your own wallet! We tell you why it is better not to buy iPhones and MacBooks from Apple.
You should not buy iPhones and MacBooks from Apple
When you want to buy an iPhone or MacBook, it is very tempting to go straight to Apple’s website. Admittedly, the website works very quickly and clearly. You will also find the desired configuration for your iPhone or MacBook in no time.
However, it is not always wise to get your future acquisition from Apple. The main reason for not to buy from Apple is that iPhones and MacBooks are often a lot cheaper at other online stores.
As an example we take the iPhone 14 Pro, with 256 GB of storage. At Apple you currently pay 1456 euros for this device. If we look around a bit online, the same iPhone can be found for only € 1,199.99. You don’t have to worry about the warranty, it runs through the store (and Apple).
Even with refurbished devices, it is better not to buy iPhones from Apple. At Apple, for example, a refurbished iPhone 12 mini with 64 GB 589 euros. If we check online elsewhere, the same iPhone 12 mini can be obtained for € 337.
Apple does have the advantage that you can often return your old iPhone immediately. You will then receive a certain amount for your old device. This can be useful if you don’t feel like selling your old device. Nevertheless, it sometimes pays to sell your old iPhone yourself via websites such as Marktplaats. You can usually ask a little more for it than you get from Apple for your old iPhone.
