1. TuneIn Radio
This has been the most complete radio app out there for years. TuneIn Radio offers a choice of more than 100,000 radio stations from every country in the world. In addition, it offers access to millions of podcasts that can be listened to via the app.
With so much choice, it’s nice that the app lets you search well. Naturally, a choice can be made per country, so that Dutch radio stations can be found quickly. You can also search by interest, to quickly bring up sports or current affairs, for example. By saving favorites, radio stations can be found quickly.
If you create an account, you can see what others like and leave comments on radio stations. The TuneIn app also has a car mode, with a simplified menu for when you’re behind the wheel. TuneIn is free to use, but a Pro or Premium version offers no ads.
2. Radio.net
Not as extensive in the range as TuneIn, but with a choice of 300,000 channels and 600,000 podcasts you are not easily bored and searching between the range is fortunately made easy. For example, radio stations can be found by country, genre, subject or which one you have already listened to. Many broadcasts can also be listened back afterwards.

The RadioNed app offers more than 650 Dutch radio stations. This includes not only the big names such as 538 and 3FM, but also many small, local stations and pirate stations. The stations are easily searchable in a clear interface. This can also be done by genre, region or decade.
