With WeatherScout you can photograph exactly the sunset or nature photo you want. The app helps you find the right moment for the perfect outdoor photo.
WeatherScout is looking for your ideal photo opportunity
The WeatherScout app was recently put in the App Store and is looking for your ideal outdoor photo opportunity. You set what weather conditions you want to photograph in, and the app sends you a notification when the time comes. You can set this for multiple locations, where you also see the current weather in addition to the alert.
It is also always possible to see the weather and photo conditions at your current location. This way you can see the weather, temperature and wind speed per location at a glance. Choose between weather conditions such as sunny, cloudy or rainy. Or choose that you want a notification just before sunrise, ‘golden hour’ or ‘blue hour’ starts.
The nice thing about WeatherScout is that it only notifies you when the weather conditions are really the way you want. If the sunrise turns out to be nothing more than a gray sky full of clouds, you will not receive a notification. Can you turn around nicely, instead of getting up before dawn.
Personalize as much as you want
In addition, you can easily choose how much time before the perfect weather moment you want to receive a notification. Handy if, for example, you have a favorite place, but you still have to travel 30 minutes for this. The app is suitable for planning both photo and video sessions. The app also offers a solution for planning the perfect drone flight. You can also set what the maximum wind speed may be.
When you have a photo opportunity planned, you will already get an estimate of when it is likely to happen. That way you can prepare for it a bit, and let your WeatherScout do the rest of the work. This means you no longer have to continuously monitor different weather apps or be disappointed by disappointing views.
You pay a small amount once for WeatherScout. The app is especially worth considering if you regularly shoot outside and want to keep an eye on the conditions of several good photo spots.
