Yale has introduced a new smart door lock: the Linus Smart Lock L2 Lite. With this model, the manufacturer wants to make smart access security more accessible to a wide audience. The lock is equipped with the new Keysense technology, which should make opening and closing the door easier and faster.

The L2 Lite slot works without a traditional key. From the inside the door can be opened with the push of a button and automatically locked with longer pressing. Anyone approaching the home with his smartphone in your pocket will automatically unlock the door thanks to location detection. With that, Yale responds to everyday situations in which keys are often leaking or awkward, such as during busy mornings or when someone has their hands full.

Sharing and checking access
Another function of the smart lock is easy to share access with family members or friends. Parents can, for example, give their children a personal pin code through a separately available Yale Smart Keypad. Users also receive real-time reports via the Yale Home app, so that it is always clear who enters or leaves the house.

Installation without interventions
The design of the L2 Lite is focused on ease of use. The compact lock can be mounted on most European doors without drilling or calling in an installer. The installation is via a step -by -step manual in the app. With the optional Yale Connectx Wi-Fi Bridge, remote control is also possible, as well as integration with smart platforms such as Alexa, Google Home, Apple Home and Samsung SmartThings via Matter and Thread.

Extra security
The lock is attached to the inside of the door and is therefore not visible from the street, which reduces the chance of burglary. Digital security is guaranteed by encryption and two-step verification for all Yale accounts.

Availability
The Yale Linus Smart Lock L2 Lite will be in stores from December 3 and is available through the official product page and selected outlets. The suggested retail price is € 139.00.
