It is now possible to download films and TV series with the Ziggo Go app, so that you can watch them offline. This is how you use the new ‘Download & Go’ option on your iPhone or iPad.
This is how you use Ziggo Go offline
If you go to the ‘Movies & Series (XL)’ tab with the Ziggo Go app, you will now find an option to download a selection of films and series, so that they can be viewed later without an internet connection. Not all films and series can be downloaded and you can recognize the download option by a new button. To use the Download & Go feature, you must first register your device via your Ziggo account. You can register up to two devices.
- Open the Ziggo Go app and go to ‘Movies & Series XL’;
- In the offer you can then select a film or TV series. You can see whether that is possible by the download icon;
- Tap this and the download will start automatically. The bar at the bottom shows how far the download is.
Under ‘Saved’ you will find all the movies and TV series that you have downloaded with your iOS device. From there you can immediately start watching, which can take up to 30 days after downloading. If you have watched the film or series, the file will be automatically deleted after two days. Even if Ziggo removes a film or series from its offer, watching is no longer possible.
