You’ll soon be able to view your Fitbit steps and calories burned on your Google Nest Hub

Google explains on one of its Nest support pages how to show you certain activities from Google Fit or Fitbit on your Nest Hub screen. That means that you will soon be able to view the number of steps and calories burned from your Fitbit on your Google smart display.

The page shows that you can view your activity stats such as steps and calories burned from Google Fit or Fitbit on your Nest screen. To view that, you must first link your fitness account in the Google Homeapp. This concerns your Google Fit or your Fitbit account. That also seems a logical move since Fitbit has been in the hands of Google since last year. In the steps you can see how you can link your Google Fit or your Fitbit account, but that does not yet work as the function has not yet been rolled out by Google. Anyway, it looks like the announcement of this deep integration is imminent.
