AirPods Pro 2 rumor: on sale this fall with better audio and new design

In his Power-on newsletter tells trusted Apple analyst Mark Gurman that by the end of 2022, we’ll be seeing a new generation of the best Apple earphones. In addition to the rumor that the AirPods Pro 2 will appear, this Apple analyst expects from Bloomberg also that the high end headphones, the AirPods Max, will appear in new colors.

The rumor surrounding the AirPods Pro 2 confirms what we’ve been thinking for some time. The earbuds will receive a new design, improved audio quality and possibly an integration of the Health app.

AirPods Pro 2 is due for renewal

Apple’s Pro earbuds have been the same for some time now. We haven’t seen a new version since 2019. The most striking rumor? The famous ‘stalks’ will disappear in the design of the AirPods Pro 2. Ming-Chi Kuo, another famous analyst of Apple news, confirmed this much earlier. However, Gurman expects even more adjustments with this second generation AirPods Pro.

For example, these earbuds would get a new charging box. This new box can then be found via a sound and with the ‘Find My’ app. In addition, they will support lossless audio in Apple Music. Another rumor is that the AirPods Pro 2 will also have built-in motion sensors.

‘Several new colors for the AirPods Max’

Gurman also spoke about the AirPods Max in his newsletter. Although a second generation of the headphones that Apple launched at the end of 2020 is not expected, there is hope for new color options. Unfortunately we have not been able to discover more than this rumor. So it remains to be seen what the new colors of the AirPods Max will be.
