Ford Puma ST officially announced

Rumors have been going around for a while and prototypes have been around for at least as long, but Ford has slyly officially announced that a punchy ST version of the Puma is coming!

Ford sent four different videos to its social media channels with flashy images of a mysterious newcomer. If you pay close attention, you will see that in every video a puzzle piece is hidden in a flash. If you put those four puzzles together, the opening plate of this news article will be the result. The news is crystal clear: the Puma comes as ST.

The recipe for the sporty crossover seems clear: extra wide bumpers all around, a sturdy set of wheels, spacious spoiler and black details. Nothing has been announced about the motorization, but it is quite possible that the three-cylinder 1.5-liter EcoBoost with 200 hp from the Fiesta ST will end up in the Puma. In the lighter Fiesta, this engine ensures that it reaches 100 in 6.5 seconds and that a top speed of 232 km / h is possible. For such information about the Puma ST, we need to be patient.
