Philips Hue Festavia string light and new features Sparkle effect and Diffuse style

Signify is the company behind Philips Hue and has many beautiful lighting products, such as the Philips Hue Lightguide lamps. Philips Hue now comes with a new product, the Philips Hue Festavia light cord and also has some new features in the Philips Hue app with the Sparkle effect and the Diffuse style.

Featuring 250 smart mini LEDs along a 20m cord, this Philips Hue Festavia string light offers great flexibility to decorate your Christmas tree, stairs or any other space in your home. You no longer have to crawl under the Christmas tree to turn the lights on or off. With the Festavia light cord you can dim and brighten the lighting, change color, switch on and off, set timers and schedules and much more, all within the Hue app. In addition, you can choose different color points to create a color gradient along the cord, making the colors come to life. As with all Hue products, the Festavia light cord works with other Philips Hue lights in the room. So it can also be synced to music via the Spotify and Samsung SmartThings integration, allowing the lights to blink, dim and light up along with your favorite song or playlist.

New Features Sparkle Effect and Diffuse Style
Along with the Festavia light cord, new features are available in the Hue app. The new Sparkle effect makes every light on the cord sparkle, creating an extra festive look. For a cozier setting, users can of course opt for the existing Candle or Fireplace effect. Festavia also allows users to choose a new style: Diffuse. While the standard Linear style for the Gradient range provides a seamless color transition from one end of the cord to the other, the Diffuse style spreads up to five colors randomly across the cord for a colorful, festive experience.
