In this week’s Techzle, the range of stories is again nice and wide. From a Renault Mégane CC with almost four tons on the counter, to the renewed Bentley Bentayga and of course everything in between.
There is hardly any target group that is not satisfied when we take Techzle 40. To begin with, there are of course the necessary tests. So we put the somewhat older Renault Mégane against a newcomer: the Seat Leon. Does the Renault betray its age despite its slightly refreshed appearance? In a different kind of comparison, namely between two different classes within one brand, the Peugeot 2008 and 3008 shine. Time to find out what you miss with the 2008 compared to the 3008 and whether they both operate neatly within their framework or precisely secretly pretty close together.
Those who are more interested in exclusive stuff can also indulge themselves this week. For example, Roy drives the thoroughly renewed Bentley Bentayga to find out whether the SUV can be even more successful for Bentley. Furthermore, it is time for an ‘New Year’s Eve’, this time with the Maserati Quattroporte. Is today’s luxury Italian four-door still somewhat true to its past? Slightly less exclusive, but very luxurious for their time, are the Mercedes-Benz ML and Lexus RX, which are put to the test in an Occasion double test.
In the more affordable corner of used cars, it’s time this week for a 2005 Renault Mégane CC to prove itself. The Frenchman in the photo above has barely four tons on the counter and is going up the bridge in ‘Klokje Rond’. After all these years and kilometers, is it still something, or is there something bad under the carriage of this by no means unspoken generation Megane? A possibly less known veteran is the Toyota Corolla GTi that is put on the rollers. We still know the Corolla from those years, but the GTi version will undoubtedly have faded into the background for many. Ghisbert van Ginhoven investigates whether all horses are still under the hood.
This and more can all be read in the latest Techzle, which will be in stores this week from Wednesday. Would you rather not go out? Order from the easy chair the latest number. Then it will arrive on the doormat within two working days.
