Royal Enfield exists 120 years and to commemorate this special milestone and rich history as the oldest British motorcycle manufacturer, Enfield has released an exclusive “Anniversary” version of both the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650.

From Monday 7 March 2022 at 6:30 pm they can be ordered on a specially launched website, the 120th Anniversary versions of the Interceptor and Continental GT. According to Enfield, because they’ve been around for 120 years, but strictly speaking that was actually last year. The very first Royal Enfield motorcycle rolled off the production line in 1901.
The Anniversary models are designed and hand built by various teams in the UK and India. The tank’s unique and rich black-chrome livery has also been completely produced in-house.
In addition, for the first time, both models also have black engine elements and a black exhaust. Both models will also be equipped with a range of original accessories, including a windshield, crash pads, and touring mirrors. All finished in black to complete the overall design. In addition to the hand-painted special Anniversary emblem and pinstriping on the tank, each motorcycle is equipped with a unique number on the fuel cap.
In honor of the 120th anniversary, these motorcycles are only available in a very limited edition; 120 units, 60 of the Interceptor and 60 of the Continental GT, for all of Europe. Truly a real collector’s item.
The 120 Year Edition of the Royal Enfield Interceptor is available for € 11,499 and the Continental GT for € 11,699 (recommended consumer price, roadworthy, including VAT, BPM, unavoidable costs and fees).
On a special website, consumers from all over Europe can express their interest and select the dealer of their preference from 7 March 6.30 pm. Unfortunately for the Benelux this means that you have to pay attention during French lessons at school, because the website is only in French.
Royal Enfield Europe itself will select consumers from all entries, based on whoever comes first and a maximum of 1 order per customer, who will end up on the so-called ‘winners list’. Other interested parties will be placed on a reserve list. If the selected winners do not come to an agreement, people from the reserve list will still get a chance.
