2025 ZX-6R available from September

The return of the Ninja ZX-6R has proven to be a great success according to Team Green, the model was sold out in no time last season. That is why Kawasaki Benelux has decided to bring the 2025 model, in 2 new color schemes, to the Netherlands earlier in order to meet the high demand from the market.

We honestly think it is a positive development, the resurrection of the 600 Supersport, in the heyday of the Supersport the segment that was sold in droves. And we understand it too, the one-liter Supersport is already unbeatable on the circuit, and on the street it is completely overkill, where you can still drive a 600 Supersport on the street with good manners, without having the feeling of driving stupidly slowly.

The addition of 37cc of extra engine capacity compared to the regular 600 Supersport has a big impact on the usable power and torque and makes the Ninja ZX-6R, according to Kawasaki, eminently suitable for riding not only on the track but also on the street. And not only according to Kawasaki, Ron recently put it on the TT circuit next to the CBR600RR and came to the same conclusion.

The iconic 636cc four-in-line is also equipped with a quickshifter (unfortunately no up/down), adjustable traction control and four riding modes including Sport, Road, Rain and the adjustable Rider Mode. Radial Monobloc brake calipers and fully adjustable Showa suspension together with the aluminum frame ensure a wonderfully handling bike.

The 3D layered bodywork, featuring two new color schemes for the 2025 model year, immediately stands out with its sharp design featuring LED projector headlamps and signature RAM-AIR intake at the front.

The 2025 Ninja ZX-6R will be available from September at Kawasaki dealers in the new colors Lime Green/Ebony/Pearl Blizzard White (KRT edition) and Ebony/Metallic Flat Spark Black. Prices are not yet known.
