Taking care of a pet requires a lot of love and attention every day, but today they are even more in the limelight. Especially for all four-legged friends, winged buddies and other pets, we show the best apps, and we list a number of nice tips for taking nice photos today.
1. Lonely Cat Toy
Is your cat tired of his toys or do you not have room for a cat play paradise? Then put Lonely Cat Toy in front of his face. In this cat game, a fish, bird, butterfly or mouse moves across the screen. To the cat to catch it as often as possible.

If you don’t have a pet, but would like to: go to the animal shelter. The Animal Protection has since discontinued the Ikzoek Baas app, but has replaced it with a properly functioning mobile site.
Thousands of shelter animals are waiting for an owner. All animals deserve a (new) home, and for that reason the Animal Protection is set up this website always all kinds of animals in the sun. The animals are housed in animal shelters all over the country. In addition, it is possible to search the complete range for the type of pet you want. Filter by distance, race and age.

This is how you take the perfect photo of your pet
1. Turn on Live Photo
When you photograph with the Live Photo function, your iPhone also shoots images before and after the actual photo. As soon as you edit the photo afterwards, you can choose which moment is the best. This prevents you from taking a photo every time your pet just closes its eyes, and it saves a lot of time before you have the desired picture.
2. Use the Burst mode
When your pet doesn’t sit still, it can be difficult to get the perfect shot. In such a case, use the Burst mode. By holding down the shutter button, your iPhone will shoot dozens of photos in a row. In the screen you will see a counter of how many photos have been taken. Then go to the photo burst in your album and tap ‘Select’. Here you can choose the best shots and delete the others immediately.
3. Action? Slow motion film
Is your hamster busy running on its wheel, or does your dog keep grabbing its ball out of the air while walking? Try filming in slow motion mode. Because you can see the action of your pet extra well, it often produces impressive images.
4. Shoot in Portrait mode
If you have an iPhone that supports Portrait mode, such as the new iPhone 11, you also shoot the most beautiful pictures of animals. Thanks to the bokeh effect that blurs the background, you can easily take photos that can be placed on the wall. Try to focus especially on the eyes; these stand out best with this effect.
5. Quick search in Photos
Every animal lover will undoubtedly have endless photos of his or her pet. To quickly get an overview of all photos, the smarter search function in the Photos app in iOS 13 comes in handy. Enter as search query ‘cat’, ‘bird’, ‘guinea pig’ or ‘dog’ and you will see all photos with that animal on it.
