Many German cities are plagued by traffic jams. Modern mobility services, new technologies and, in the future, networked autonomous vehicles are set to change that. But what good are the concepts?

All is well with the world until six in the morning. Then it starts, every working day and in almost all larger German cities: cars are crowded on the access roads. The consequences: slow-moving traffic at first, then traffic jams. The situation usually only returns to normal after three hours.
