Up to 300 kilometers electrically
It has been about 1.5 years since Nissan unveiled the new Townstar. The sister model of the Renault Kangoo and the Mercedes-Benz Citan is also coming to the Netherlands as a fully electric Nissan Townstar Electric Van.
The Nissan Townstar Electric Van is the fully electric version of the delivery van based on the Townstar. The Japanese gets a 45-kWh battery and a 122 hp and 245 Nm strong electric motor. This combination gives the Townstar Electric Van a range of up to 300 kilometers.
The successor to the Nissan e-NV200 will receive ProPilot Assist, a heat pump and can be ordered in two lengths as standard. Depending on the chosen version, the Nissan Townstar Electric Van has a payload of 612 to 788 kilos. In addition, the electric commercial vehicle may tow a maximum of 1,500 kilos. The short L1 has a load volume of 3.3 cubic meters. The longer L2 gobbles up to 4.3 cubic meters of stuff.
