Success extender?

Lynk & Co will soon expand its delivery range with a new model that may also come to Europe: the 08. It has now been shown quite well from the side.
Lynk & Co sells an arsenal of models in its home country China that we do not know at all in Europe. From compact SUVs to a sedan and from its own version of the Volvo XC90 to a hatchback. At the end of this month, Lynk & Co will introduce the 08 in China, a new SUV that may also come to Europe and therefore the Netherlands.
Lynk & Co could use a second model in the Netherlands. The plug-in hybrid 01 is currently all alone here. The brand is doing good business with this and so Lynk & Co wants nothing more than to translate the 01 success into a second model. The Lynk & Co 08 will probably be a bit bigger than the 4.54 meter long 01, but it will also not be an EV. At least not for the time being anyway. The 08 will include a variant of Lynk & Co’s new plug-in hybrid powertrain. Lynk & Co has shown the 08 before, but now the Chinese show the full side view.
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu, in which Lynk & Co’s parent company Geely has a majority stake, is partly responsible for the software and infotainment part of the Lynk & Co 08.
