Logitech introduces the Zone Learn, a durable, wired headset designed together with educators and students. Two versions are available: one for on-ear and one for over-ear.
Logitech releases many headphones, such as the Logitech A30 Wireless Gaming Headset The Mandalorian Edition. Logitech is also very active in the field of products for education, such as the iPad cover Logitech Rugged Lite. Now, Logitech has released the Logitech Zone Learn in the Benelux: wired headsets tailored for young learners to help them stay focused, study for longer, and prepare for secondary school. The durable headsets are designed for smaller heads and feature replaceable ear cushions and cabling.
From concept to end product
Logitech worked closely with educators and students – from the initial concept to the final prototype – to develop the Logitech Learn. The result is a headset designed, manufactured and tested for concentrated study anytime, anywhere. In addition, Chromebooks are frequently used in education and to respond to this, the headset is Works With Chromebook (WWCB) certified.
“We designed Zone Learn with the high audio quality you expect from Logitech. Students can study undisturbed and immerse themselves in the educational apps they use to better grow and develop, without being distracted,” said Michele Hermann, general manager and head of education solutions at Logitech. “Logitech has decades of experience and tons of with knowledge when it comes to audio and that comes together again in this headset that is intended for young learners on their way to secondary education.”
The importance of comfort
In a survey conducted by Logitech and Education Week of more than 1,000 educators, 74% believe a student’s physical comfort impacts their engagement. Zone Learn helps students become more immersed in audio and video materials used during lessons and used in homework. Each Zone Learn headset is specially designed for smaller heads and uses a lightweight headband with a comfortable, soft layer. Students can also adjust the arms of the headset, so that they can choose a perfect fit. This way, the headset also stays neatly in place.
Durable and versatile
Logitech Zone Learn is designed to last and can take a beating: the headsets have been rigorously tested and have survived countless drops to meet the military standard 810G. They also offer a variety of plug-and-play options, including 3.5MM AUX, USB-A and USB-C connectors, to easily work with a variety of devices, conferencing platforms and operating systems. This allows students to always connect their headsets to the equipment used by educational institutions. An investment in new technology is therefore not quickly required. If necessary, educators can easily repair their students’ headsets themselves with optional, replaceable ear cushions and cabling. Educational institutions can also switch from over-ear to on-ear pads and vice versa.
