We all know it: a dinner party, an outing or other joint activity where the costs are divided among the attendees.

Review WieBetaaltWat: divide costs

With the WieBetaaltWat app, you can make these costs transparent and distribute them relatively easily. You can use the app for free.

The app is especially useful for defined activities, such as a holiday. You then create a new project (called ‘lists’ in WieBetaaltWat) and determine which participants are involved. Everyone then keeps track of the costs incurred. You can view the balance at any time. You can draw up the final bill at the end of the activity. You can then see who has to pay and which people will receive a refund. The app also supports multiple currencies: a handy option in view of the holidays.

Speaking of holidays: the makers have ensured that the app also works offline, so you don’t always have to have a (mobile) data connection. A calculator is available via the app for making simple calculations.

To eventually settle the expenses, you can settle the amount via a payment service such as iDEAL. At the end of the settlement you can download a PDF of all expenses, for example for use in the administration.
