HiPhi currently sells the HiPhi X and the very bombastic styled HiPhi Z in China. HiPhi’s Chief Technology Officer recently told the UK’s Autocar that HiPhi would soon announce a third model and that that would be the car that the brand will take at the end of this year. year to Europe. That third model has now been presented: the HiPhi Y.

While the HiPhi Y falls right in between the HiPhi X and HiPhi Z in terms of naming, the new electric SUV is the smallest of the bunch. But he is certainly not small. The HiPhi Y measures 4.94 meters in length, is 1.96 meters wide and 1.66 meters high. However, it is considerably shorter than the 5.2 meter long X and the Z which extends over a distance of 5.3 meters. Just like the HiPhi X and the HiPhi Z, the HiPhi Y has a set of special doors. The HiPhi X has ‘backward’ opening rear doors with small gull-wing doors above that take a bite out of the roof. The HiPhi Z only has the rear-hinged rear doors. And the HiPhi Y? It has frameless rear doors that do hinge at the front, but just like the HiPhi X it has a set of extra gull-wing doors. It makes the HiPhi Y a special appearance, although the new electric SUV is not as crazy designed as the Z.

The HiPhi Y comes on the market in China in various flavors. The HiPhi Y will be available with a 76.6 kWh battery and with a considerably larger one with a capacity of 115 kWh. In any case, the Y will have a 336 hp electric powertrain and, in the best case scenario, it will travel up to 810 kilometers on a full battery.
