Carice TC2 comes up to more than 300 kilometers away

Are you getting tired of the current range of electric models and is it taking too long for the open electric MG Cyberster to arrive in the Netherlands? Then consider Carice for an open electric two-seater with a design that is clearly inspired by classic Porsches. You don’t even have to drive far for it. Carice is a Dutch company located in Voorhout.
In 2014 we already wrote about the first car of Carice, which was still based in Delft at the time: the Mk1. We are now almost ten years later and it is time for a completely new model. This is the Carice TC2, an open electric two-seater that is reminiscent of classic Porsches such as the 356 Speedster and the products of the French PGO. The Carice Mk1 is really all its own.

There is no shortage of classic-looking details in the Carice TC2.
We do not yet have extensive technical specifications of the Carice TC2, but they may follow after the TC2 makes its public debut on Saturday 13 May at the finish line of the Tulpenrally in Valkenburg. Carice does report that the TC2 has an electric range of more than 300 kilometers and weighs only 630 kilos. Carice further tells AutoWeek that the TC2 has a 31.5-kWh battery and an electric motor with a peak output of 54 horsepower.
We also have a Dutch price for the limited edition Carice TC2: €44,500. Please note: this is exclusive of VAT. So count on a basic starting price of almost €54,000. What turns out though? The first series of the Carice TC2 is now sold out. Customers could already place an order during the development of the model. Don’t worry: there will be new copies on the market later.
