Completely own face

Opel has the Rocks Electric, Citroën the Ami. And what does Fiat have? The Topolino! Fiat releases the first image of its fully electric tiny and retro design overloaded city rascal.
Fiat is introducing its own variant of the small electric city car, which was initially known as Rocks-e at Opel, but is now known as Rocks Electric (and Rocks Kargo) and as Ami at Citroën. Where the Rocks Electric and Ami are very similar and differ mainly in terms of color scheme, Fiat has managed to give its Topolino its very own face.
Just like the Opel Rocks Electric and Citroën Ami, the Fiat Topolino is a miniscule piece of electric urban transport in which 16-year-olds with a moped license are already allowed to take a seat. For the time being, we have to make do with a single photo and Fiat is also keeping technical specifications under wraps for a while. The Opel Rocks Electric and its French equivalent have an 8.2 hp electric motor and a 5.5 kWh battery pack, good for a range of up to 75 kilometers in the city.
The Topolino shown in the photo has a roll-top and piece of rope that functions as a door, and the Fiat 500 Jolly probably served as a source of inspiration. Don’t be surprised if the Topolino that Fiat will present in its entirety in the long term, has more conventional doors. The name Topolino does not just fall out of the blue. After all, between 1936 and 1955, Fiat had a model of the same name, of which it produced more than 500,000 units. The Topolino eventually got an iconic successor in ‘backpack’ 500.
