Importers are eliminating accumulated shortages

The total number of registered cars over the past six months stands at 107,024. That is more than 13,000 more than in the previous six months. This is partly due to the fact that manufacturers and therefore also importers are making up the shortfalls that have built up at a rapid pace.

Racket

Tesla rockets into the Lease top 10. The Model Y shoots straight into first place. With 3,715 registered copies, it is a top seller. Six months ago, the Volvo CX40 was still in first place with 2,305 registered units. This model is now in second place with 3,140 registrations. Significantly more than before.

Newcomers

It is striking that there are two newcomers on the list that we previously saw in the lease top 10 up to €25,000. The Volkswagen Polo (#5 with 1,904 units) and the Ford Fiesta (#7 with 1,513 units) are coming of age in terms of size and equipment. The price logically grows along with it.

Drop

The Skoda Enyaq once led the list and is now showing a further decline. The model has dropped from place 4 to place 8 and registered 1,435 units, 270 less than in the previous six months.

The basis for this Top 10 is the number of business registered cars over the past two quarters. You can find the complete overview and the different price categories on the Lease top 10 page.
