Just after Ford tacked

Shortly after Ford announced that it would prepare its electric cars in the US for Tesla chargers, General Motors is also tacking.
Tesla has opened up its Supercharger network in the United States – just like here – to cars from other brands. The big problem is that many EVs do not yet have a suitable charging port there. Tesla uses its own North American Charging Standard, a name that used to sound rather ambitious but is becoming more and more appropriate. After all, Ford recently announced that it would equip its electric cars with the Tesla charging connection to replace the CCS port. Now General Motors has also made that decision.
GM will equip all electric cars with the NACS charging port as standard from 2025. It must therefore also be possible to charge with the CCS connection at other fast chargers by means of an adapter. General Motors is working with Tesla for the adjustment and even suggests that the NACS connection should become exactly what the name implies: the North American charging standard. CEO Mary Barra: “This partnership is a critical part of our strategy and an important step in rapidly expanding fast-charging capabilities for our customers. Not only does it help make the transition to EVs more seamless for our customers, but it can also help move the industry towards a single North American charging standard.”
